The 2012/2013 School Year Introduces:

  • Jazz for Pre Ballet Students, Ages 5 & 6,
    Saturdays 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM

Creative Movement and Pre Ballet, (no audition necessary):
This program is specifically designed for pre-schoolers, kindergarteners and first graders in order to meet the highly specific developmental needs in each of these years. Pre-schoolers, ages 3 & 4, will attend one or two 45-minute Creative Movement classes a week. Kindergarteners and first graders, ages 5 & 6, will attend one or two one-hour Pre Ballet classes a week. Both classes focus on coordination and musicality, with an emphasis on body conditioning. Beginning September 7th Pre Ballet Students are also offered 1 jazz class per week, Saturdays from 12:30 to 1:30 PM. 

Beginner — Level A (no audition necessary)
Introducing 2-class, 3-class, and 4-class per week options

Intermediate — Level B (no audition necessary)

Intermediate/Advanced — Level C(no audition necessary)

Advanced — Level D (no audition necessary)

Trainee Program (audition required):
Los Angeles Ballet School's 2-year Trainee Program is for male and female dancers who have graduated High School and are at a pre-professional level. The program provides an opportunity to transition from advanced student to professional dancer. Trainees selected for this program will be given the foundation on which to build a professional career, concentrating on perfecting technique and developing artistry. 

The Beginner/Intermediate Adult Ballet Class will offer adults an opportunity to learn classical ballet technique with an emphasis on alignment and artistry, all while experiencing the benefits of a fun and challenging workout. The Intermediate/Advanced Adult Ballet Class focuses on increased technical mastery with emphasis on artistic interpretation and musicality.
